
THE VILLAGE OF ILHABELA

The paintings in the nave and the figures carved on the outside are the work of artist Alfredo Oliani.

Beach Castelhanos
Located east of Ilhabela, with access only by 4x4 (off-road) or by boat, has an area of approximately 1,500 meters, where is a pond of crystal clear water. About 15 families of fishermen inhabiting the area. There is also access to the Waterfall Cat with a 40 minute walk, as far as it reveals in the woods a waterfall of 50 meters in height.

Beach Bonete
Located south of Ilhabela, access only performed by trail or by boat, is the largest fishing colony isolated from the city with about 60 families.
